Privacy Policy
Last updated 5 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our mobile app and website (together, the "Service"), how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by Forone Unique Services, a business name registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria under number BN 3913515, at 37 Okilton Drive, Ada George Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Questions about it go to the addresses on our contact page.
2. Information we collect
- Account details. Your business name, your phone number and a PIN. The PIN is stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody can read it back, including us.
- Business records. What you enter to run your business: your customers and their contact details, your products, prices and costs, your invoices, the payments you record, the bank account printed on your invoices, and, if you add them, a business email and a logo.
- Account recovery. If you choose to add them, a recovery email address and answers to recovery questions. The answers are stored as one-way hashes.
- Device information. An identifier for each installation of the app and the device model, so you can see and sign out the devices on your account. If you turn on notifications, a token that lets us deliver them to that device.
- Usage information. Counts of actions in the app, such as invoices created, recorded without amounts or customer details.
- Information from your buyers. When a buyer opens an invoice link and tells you they have paid, the amount, bank and time they enter.
- Technical logs. Our servers keep standard records of requests, which can include an IP address, for a short period to keep the Service secure and to fix faults.
We do not collect your location, your contacts, your messages, or photos other than a logo you choose, and we do not use advertising identifiers.
3. How we use information
- To provide the Service: storing your records and keeping them in step across your devices, numbering invoices, producing the links your buyers open, and showing price suggestions.
- To keep your account secure: checking sign-ins, letting you recover access, and telling you when a new device signs in or your bank details change.
- To send the notifications you turn on. Their text never includes an amount or a customer's name.
- To answer you when you contact us.
- To understand how the Service is used and improve it, from counts rather than from your records.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and we never message your customers. An invoice reaches a buyer only when you send it.
4. Legal basis
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and similar laws, we process personal data to perform our agreement with you, which is providing the Service; for our legitimate interests in keeping the Service secure and improving it; with your consent where we ask for it, such as for notifications and a recovery email, which you can withdraw at any time; and where the law requires it.
6. Where information is stored
Your records are stored on your device and on our servers in Europe, so the app keeps working without a connection and nothing is lost if a device is. If you use the Service from outside Europe, your data is transferred there and protected as this policy describes.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, it is scheduled for deletion after a 30-day grace period, and signing in during that period cancels it. After the grace period your records are deleted and your invoice links stop working, except invoices, which are kept for seven years where tax and accounting law requires it. Invoices you already sent stay with the buyers who received them.
8. Security
Data travels encrypted between the app and our servers. PINs and recovery answers are stored only as one-way hashes, and staff access is limited and recorded. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you without undue delay if a breach puts your data at risk.
9. Your rights and choices
You can see and correct your records in the app at any time. You can delete your account and everything in it from More in the app, without asking us, or by following these steps if you no longer have the app. You can turn notifications off in the app. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent you gave, and you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
10. Children
The Service is for businesses and for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will tell you in the app before a significant change takes effect.
12. Contact
For any question about this policy or your data, write to us using the details on our contact page. A person reads every message.
